Standards and Architecture

The PCCA Standards and Architecture Committee meets quarterly to evaluate new mobile and wireless technologies, to assess their effectiveness, and to identify issues facing the industry, particularly with respect to interoperability, ease of use and application efficiency.

In the past, this committee developed interface specifications and standards for computer interfaces to wireless systems. This work is now considered complete. Click here to obtain the documents associated with these specifications and standards.

This section of the Web page contains information about different mobile and wireless architectures, specific vendor solutions, as well as information about wireless technologies, that are the results of PCCA meetings, or information submitted by PCCA members.
